A RE-CREATION PROCESS
Bypassing the dual-thinking mind

Both-H(and)s workshops invite you to write with your “other” hand and to experience differently, to develop a cursive calligraphy (or joined-hand writing) that unites, and to flip your view as you engage in mirror writing (all that potentially at the same time!)

Cursive writing calls for union. When letters are joined, when words run and follow a silent rhythm and dance together, they allow for a reconnection: with self, with others, with past and future, with space and time. For that reason, joined-hand writing can participate to healing as we engage our past to renew it and integrate it into our present and as we prepare a peaceful opening to our future.

Hand writing invites the whole person, allows for a pace and a presence that stimulate and anchor us with affirmation. This is true when we use our habitual hand, and possibly truer when we put to work our hand that is not usually used. It forces our brain to think differently, and creates new paths of experimenting our thoughts and emotions. It can be used to stimulate or deepen creativity, to foster a new perspective on a problem, to clarify thoughts and thinking around a demanding work, to help discerning during challenging or uncertain times, and to address unresolved traumatic experiences and knots.

As for mirror writing, it can become a portal to cross in order to bypass our habitual dualistic way of seeing, and to embrace acting and engaging in full presence, expression and thinking, in turn allowing for surprising integration.

Join us and experiment in these disciplines of heart and mind to unveil what you did not know was there.
