A person is only so in relation
The work here starts with a conversation. From that conversation, a path takes shape. It is not a method but a commitment. The most meaningful work unfolds over time: it rests on a relationship with a rhythm and a horizon.
Personhood sits in relationships. It is therefore natural to offer the work – that can be one-on-one, to groups, in places where a community, a team, an organization lives and experiences its mission between two languages, or in a culturally diverse context.
What is the experience of spiritual life – inner life, sense of self, of unity, relation to the transcendent – when it is lived in a second language?
This is the question that took root in the daily experience in the crossing of two languages and two continents and that became doctoral research.
It radiates all the work by bringing forth the power of the spoken work, the breath of language, and the energy of writing.
Different encounters, the same deep work
Seminars
Seminars are available in French, English, or a bilingual format — in person or online. They can be tailored for public events, study days, symposia, or continuing education programs. The goal is to create the conditions for shared reflection that stays with participants long after the talk itself. Sessions vary in length and are always followed by discussion. For academic institutions, a research summary supporting the work is available upon request.
Workshops & Training Sessions
In-person workshops are offered as half-day or full-day sessions for groups. The format is always conversational, contemplative, and participatory — unhurried, by design. There are no predetermined outcomes, no ready-made solutions on offer. What there is: sustained, serious attention, and an open invitation for the group to think and share together. Sessions are facilitated in English, French, or a bilingual mix.
One-on-One Work
Working one-on-one begins with a conversation and takes shape within the relationship itself. It can support both professional and personal contexts.
Every session is shaped around the person and the community it serves. It may move through the areas outlined below, or weave them together, depending on your questions and the needs of your group. The themes listed here are examples — the research opens onto other avenues, which are always open for discussion.

The other language: a pilgrimage
Language is not merely a tool — it is a place: of dwelling, of inheritance, of transmission and formation. When we are displaced from it — or when we choose to move through another — something in the inner life is called to shift as well.
Poetry, the transfiguring word
Poetry as something lived, as practice — a way of perceiving, naming, and inhabiting experience that slips past the mind’s defenses. For those drawn to the contemplative and apophatic dimensions of language and inner truth.

Writing as a path toward self-discovery, healing, and integration. A guided journey through personal narrative, journaling, and creative expression — for those who sense in words the possibility of an inner friendship.
Both-H(and)s: the incarnate word
A distinctive approach that calls on the intelligence of both hands and the body’s own knowing. The act of writing by hand offers a particular quality of presence. A cross-disciplinary lens on handwriting, psychology, and the inner life — surprising and illuminating.

A grounded space for professionals, leaders, and managers — and for those moving through moments of transition, decision, or deep questioning. Drawing on psychology, organizational science, and contemplative traditions.
